Fiona- Founder Producer
Fiona began her career at 18 working for Australian Theatre iconic Theatre Producers Peter & Ellen Williams, working on the pantomime Cinderella in her university holidays.
She then went on to become a drama teacher and started both Bauhaus Theatre and Yorick Youth Theatre at the ripe age of 20.
A professional career followed with production roles for Cameron Mackintosh’s Miss Saigon, Phantom of The Opera, Les Miserable and John Frost’s Crazy For You.
Fiona then began working for the Sydney Opera House and over the years has not only written, produced and directed a range of theatre productions, screenplays and films, she has assisted a range of arts organisations in marketing, audence, script development and programming. A stint at Google saw Fiona involved with the development of the You Tube Symphony, a live streamed global concert between Sydney Opera House, Carneggie Hall in NY and 101 musicians from 30 countries. After serving on the board as Non Executive director of Australia’s preeminent youth theatre company, Australian Theatre for Young People Fiona is currently the Vice Chair of Harrogate Theatre, sits on the programming panel for Filmed Up Festival at HOME Manchester, and is reader for NYC Midnight writers competitions. Fiona is passionate about the development of new work, particularly stories of unusual women in unexpected situations, and providing opportunties for the emergence of new voices from new writers.
Fiona has a Master in Script & Screenwriting (Distinction), Master of Marketing (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Educations (Drama).
